Perhaps the most valuable feature overall on the new 2017 Ford Edge is the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. It works by constantly monitoring the grip of each tire. Then, it adjusts the amount of front and rear torque in order to maximize traction. The system works so quickly that it usually makes those adjustments before wheel slippage even occurs. Intelligent All-Wheel Drive is available on every model of the of the Edge, and it comes standard on the Sport.
