Manitoba Tough Episode Three: Roland Delorme

Someone who can take a punch is tough. Someone who takes a punch, a kick, a knee, and an eye-gouge, and then asks for more, is Manitoba Tough. That’s where Roland Delorme comes in. As a young kid, Roland’s combative nature used to get him in trouble. So, his parents introduced him to judo in the hope that he could positively channel his aggression. By 16, Roland had earned his black belt and was competing (and winning) in national competitions.

Later, he moved on to jujutsu before finally combining his skills in mixed martial arts, the purest of combat sports. In episode three of Capital Ford’s Manitoba Tough series, host Chris Walby finds out how a scrappy Manitoba teen worked his way up to become an Ultimate Fighter. Viewer discretion is advised.
