There are two engine options for the 2022 Ford Maverick. The standard 2.5L Full Hybrid Engine comes paired with a PowerSplit Electronic Continuously Variable Transmission and can deliver a towing capacity of 907 kilograms with a targeted 5.9L/100km city fuel economy. The available 2.0L EcoBoost® is paired with an 8-Speed Automatic Transmission and comes standard with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. When equipped with the Trailer Tow Package, this configuration can tow up to 1,814 kilograms.
